Social Studies 20-4

In Social Studies 20-4, students will examine various forms of nationalism and apply their perceptions to their own identity and sense of citizenship. Students will explore historical and current understandings of nationalism in Canada and the World. They will explore the origins of nationalism as well as the impacts of nationalism on individuals and communities. Examples of nationalism, ultranationalism, supranationalism and internationalism will be examined from multiple perspectives.
