Social Studies 20-1 All Year

This is a year long course where students will learn the essential information from Social Studies 20-1 and apply that knowledge in the Social Studies 30-1 context. Combining these two courses offer the student some unique opportunities. Students will write the Diploma Exam and complete the course in April, allowing them time in May and June to focus on other curricular areas and exam preparations. This provides an opportunity for those students who are not successful in the course to receive two additional months of instruction and re-write the Diploma Exam in June (for a small fee). As some of the content will be condensed, and these are two academic courses, it is recommended that students enrolling in this course are competent in writing and are highly self-motivated.
