Skateboarding 9 (CTF)

This course offers a unique opportunity to learn about the history of skateboarding and its evolution. Students in this course will learn about significant contributors to the Olympic sport of skateboarding, learn about and practice basic skills, and explore what makes the skateboarding community so unique. Aspects of skateboard design, skate park design, and brand identity will also be explored. Basic skateboarding skills will be taught in this class, so no previous skateboarding experience is required. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, digital citizenship, graphic design, entry level commerce, and community connections.
