COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Science 10-4 aims to prepare students for success at home, in the workplace, and in the community through the development of a range of scientific competencies. Students in this course will have the opportunity to investigate many of the “real-life” applications of science as well as continue to build problem-solving skills and knowledge necessary for further education and careers in science. Units of study include: Properties of Matter, Energy Transfer Technologies, Matter & Energy in Living Systems, and Matter & Energy in the Environment. Students who have successfully completed this course will move on to Science 14/24 in their Grade 11 year.
