COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is for those interested in learning the basics of being in a shop. The primary goal of this program is for a student to develop a love of exploration of new skills and becoming a lifelong learner. Students focus on skills and knowledge related to: design, construction, fabrication and maintenance of motors. Units will include construction, welding and mechanics. Students can expect to learn about tools and tasks that are useful and helpful in everyday life; from simple construction fixes/projects to changing tires and completing small welds, this course has something for everyone. All are welcome; no previous skill or experience needed.
