Co-requisite: Symphonic Band 10, 20 or 30 Students who participate in Jazz Band MUST also be registered in a Concert Band class, unless they have special permission from the director.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

In addition to the concert band experience, students in Grades 10-12 with limited jazz experience have the opportunity to participate in a Jazz Band. Preference will be given to students who play saxophone, trumpet, trombone, drum set, bass guitar, electric guitar, and piano, however, students who play instruments other than those listed above will be given consideration as well. Rehearsal days and times will depend on the number of participants registered in this course.
