Become a leader in the local film community and grow your mastery of cinematic history. At this level, you will use advanced writing and research skills to analyze how historical events and industry trends have evolved the world of cinema from various perspectives. You will dive deep into film as a language, comparing and contrasting the Canadian film industry with global markets and reflecting on how media shapes our personal lives and our understanding of the world. By exploring film and researching diverse opportunities, you will build the ethical and professional foundation needed to represent complex social and cultural factors through the art of filmmaking as you prepare for the next steps of your filmmaking journey.
