COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Études Sociales 30-1 is an in-depth exploration of the origins and complexities of ideologies. In this course, students will examine the principles of liberalism (classical and modern), analyze various political and economic systems and develop understandings of their roles and responsibilities as citizens. This is an academic course and is designed to prepare students for university level studies. Therefore it is strongly recommended students achieve 65% or higher in Études Sociales 20-1 before registering for Études Sociales 30-1. Students should take FLA 30-1 before taking this course.
