Drawing is a series of experiences intended to provide students with an opportunity to communicate visually. The emphasis is on the student becoming an informed creator of solutions to visual problems which will provide them with practice and development of self-confidence in creative thinking, symbolic representation and communicating visually. This course starts by providing opportunities for students to develop ideas, composition, and skills for teacher-directed problems while diversifying their approach to drawing by developing technical skills in a variety of media and approaches.
