Digital Music Composition 10

This course is for students who are interested in a musical experience in a non-performance based environment. The course concentrates on the use of technology for music production in a variety of areas. The study and use of sequencers, samplers, effects processors, multi-track recording, MIDI and computer software will allow students to develop their musical and creative potential. Music theory as it relates to composition will also be covered. Basic music reading and writing skills are recommended but not required.
