Construction 10 (5cr)

Students learn basic skills in different aspects of Construction. Introductory students learn and build upon the safe use of basic hand tools and production skills while safely transforming common building materials into useful products. Cabinetmaking and Framing will be explored through solid and manufactured wood products, and will be studied through a variety of practical wooden projects to form a basis for further learning to a higher level of expertise. The majority of the class time will be spent on hands-on activities developing the skills necessary at higher levels of Construction classes.
