Chimie 30

The Chemistry 30 program is centered around the theme of changes and the dynamics of chemical systems. Students will study thermochemistry, electrochemistry, organic chemistry and acid-base equilibrium. A strong background in the concepts and techniques developed in Chemistry 20 are important to ensure success in this course. (* This is a course offered every 2nd year depending on the number of requests for enrollment.) *Students taking this course need strong skills in Algebra as these skills are used extensively throughout the course. Students should also be taking or have completed Mathématiques 20 or the equivalent courses in English (Math 20-1 or Math 20-2).
