Chemistry 30 IB (Y)

This course will cover similar topics as Chemistry 30, but in more depth according to the International Baccaulaureate curriculum. Additional lab writeup & research skills are also emphasized, with students completing the Internal Assessment in semester one, and the IB exams in May of semester two. Students will write the Chemistry 30 Diploma for Alberta Education in June of semester two. This course alternates with Chemistry 25IB in semester one of grade 11, and continues every other day in semester two of grade 11. "Full IB" students must take this course in grade 11.
